We are happy to host you from July 21 to July 24, 2011, in what will hopefully be warm and pleasant weather.

There is no conference participation fee. There is, however, a fee to participate in our Banquet Night the night of July 23. This fee is reduced for student participants.

Program

The conference will feature a welcome day and three days. On the 21st (we're going to call it "Day 0"), we will welcome you to Kassel and Kassel University. The three conference days that follow will include anchoring speeches, paper presentations in discussion sessions, a publication workshop, and two debate panels.

Accommodation

We recommend a number of hotels that offer accommodation for €35-€90 per person per day in single occupancy. We recommend the

Mercure hotel, a four-star hotel in walking distance from the campus,

the "Castle Hotel", located at a distance in a mountain park (ca. 30 minutes by tram).

Budget travellers can check out the Novostar Hotel's Kassel property for mid-range pricing or

the Hotel Tiffany, a budget hotel in the vicinity of campus.

There will also be a special “student host” program for students attending the conference, where students of Kassel University will host visiting students free of charge. If you have already handed in your application, we're currently matching and getting back with students about hosting you. We'll get back to you!
